Well, our garden is going well...after a bit of a rocky start. We have killed basically all of the seedlings...but luckily, we bought some plants from the OKC Farmer's Market, Lowe's, Wal-Mart, etc. We have our first fruit (strawberries!) and they are so tiny! Good thing is, they taste wonderful. Hopefully I will get to eat more than one every few days!
Here are a couple of pics of the garden that Matt built for us - 3 raised beds, lots of tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, onions, and some other stuff that I can't remember. We fenced off a portion of our yard and even have a compost bin...look at us being all home grown :)
what are the green bags in the middle? also when we move in our new house i wanna have a compost bin, so youll have to give me some pointers.
ReplyDeleteIt is called an ooze tube - basically you fill it with water once a week and it drips out water so you don't have to water until it's empty. We'll give you LOTS of pointers, you'll have to come see our setup sometime.
