Another Book Bites the Dust...

A few years ago, I found this book for a whopping $4.95 at Barnes and Noble - The Pact by Jennifer Thurman is the first "mystery" I've read, and it is a tacky chick-lit at its best.  Basic plot :: Girl gets engaged to guy her friends hate...friends go away to country home for the wedding...guy dies...murder mystery ensues.  It's a beachy read and pretty suspenseful...I'd recommend it!

The other day (back at Barnes and Noble, in the clearance section)...I discovered book 3 of 4 in this series...woohoo!

 

The Key is another quick read - I read it in about two days - I won't give away any of the plot, but it is another murder mystery, but based around an evil boss working on a shady deal....and then croaking.  I'll hopefully find the rest of the books (I think one of them may be out of print) and finish the series soon.

Ps.  My goal is to read one book a week (maybe even one for work and one for fun), so I'll be posting a lot of book reviews in the coming weeks.
