We had the most wonderful Christmas - I'll let the pics do the talking...

I got an AWESOME new camera for Christmas from Matt's mom - and Matt obviously loves that he is my first test subject...

After a weekend of food, movies, shopping, presents, and more shopping, we're finally home.  I couldn't be more thankful for both of our families and friends and all of the wonderful gifts we received this year!

Matt got something man-ish for his birthday from his Mom.  All I know is it replaces me having to hold things while he drills/screws/saws/attaches/assembles them.  The box was opened before I could even finish unpacking.  Abbey and Charlie were overseeing the assembly.

Sorry this post was super boring, but wanted to re-cap our Christmas for those that we couldn't be with and wanted to thank everyone in our lives for making this such a fantastic Christmas.  I'm so thankful for all of you and can't wait for another great year with you in our lives!

A White (day after) Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! So Matt and I went to Durant on Wednesday afternoon and missed all of the horrible travel! We had a wonderful Christmas with Matt's families, saw Sherlock Holmes, and did some serious shopping before we left (I will not post my new purse, but I am OBSESSED)! I drove home because Matt was tired, and the dogs slept in the back seat ::




Our drive home was OK - I-35 was not super clear under some of the bridges so I was pretty stressed. We made it home quickly, and then we got to our addition...if you have never been there, there is only one entrance/exit, and there are two large fields before you get to any of the houses. We pull into our addition to see one of our neighbors with a bobcat tractor shoveling snow off the street...this is a bad sign. So, needless to say, it was a bit treacherous getting to our house (and we couldn't even get in our driveway) ::



We also can't open our back door, so here are some pictures of us playing in the front yard with the pups. The snow almost came to my shoulders at its highest point!

Here are some pics for Abbey and Bo for your enjoyment. We tried to take their picture for our Christmas card, and, as you can see, the photos weren't really card worthy. We'll work harder for next year's card!
