No bump pic this week - just the awesomeness that is my maternity pictures with Amy Nickerson (you can check out her site here - she works with me and is flippin' fantastic!). And when I say awesomeness, I refer to her photography skills, not to my looks at this stage in pregnancy :)
Enjoy!

The Difference Between Matt and I
Can be summed up by....
Worms.
And don't Google worms. You get the grossest results because worms are the grossest.
So, it rained all evening, and I looked outside to see if it was still raining...
Me - EWWWWWW - 3 mammoth worms on our front porch! How in the H did they get there???
Matt - I wanna see (runs outside) - I'm gonna get 'em.
Me - Sick out (yes, I say "Sick Out")
Fast forward to some explanation of why we should get the worms (to put them in the compost bin, they aren't that big, blah blah) and then Matt walks in with 3 ginormo worms in the lid to one of my pots.
Me - (SCREAMS like a sissy girl).

Durant Family Shower
We. Are. So. Loved.
Matt's mom, her friend Marty, and Marty's daughter Mika threw us a baby shower in Durant this weekend - we got to see several of our family members and friends that have known Matt since he was little :) Once I have pictures of the shower from Marty, I'll post those too.
We were definitely showered with gifts and we couldn't be more thankful!
Lots of little keepsakes...

Some serious gear...

And I think she needs more clothes...

Something I have been very excited about (and Matt's mom made me wait to take home until the shower :))...it will be so weird/wonderful to have the base actually in my car...

And a handmade blanket and turtle made by my mom...

Thank you to everyone that came and for all of the gifts for Cam!!!

Bump pics...11 weeks to go!
Oh...I do not want to post these. I'll spare the preggo "I look terrible" rant, but I'll let you fill in the blanks as to how I feel at this moment.
In other news, Cam is doing great, wiggly/stretching/kicking a lot. I'm getting to a bit of an uncomfortable phase and sleep isn't coming so easily, but it's not too bad so far. I start having appointments every 2 weeks now, and I've had my first glucose test and rho-gam shot...basic preggo stuff. We're also almost halfway through our Bradley birthing classes which are going really well, and I've almost made peace with the whole giving birth thing...give me a week and I'll by back to anxiety :)
So... Here's how things (and when I say things, I mean my waist line) are growing...
24 weeks

25 weeks

Things get a bit fuzzy around this time since I skipped a week, but I think this is 26 weeks...

28 weeks

29 weeks...Charlie had to get in on the action...

Just 11 weeks to go!

Cam's First Baby Shower!!
This weekend was our first baby shower thrown by the absolutely wonderful Jackie Powers - there was food, cupcakes, football, beer, and more food! As I'm sure you figured out I'm really bad about taking pictures...but I snapped one of the awesome cake...

But when I got home, I was sure to snap pics of all the goodies we got from our wonderful friends!!
All the loot!! We are so blessed :)

Onesies from Ashley and Kim - Matt was super excited about the jersey...

Lots of bottles and breast-feeding goodies from Jackie and Jimmy, Derrick and Tiff, the Klements, and the Garretts...

And shower goodies from Jimmy and Jackie, Shawn and Blaine, the Garretts, and the Klements (yeah, the picture is upside down....dang blogpress)...

The highlight of this picture is the Boogie Wipes from Shawn and Blaine in the bottom corner...

A traveling bed from Kim - this will come in handy...

And a swing from Jimmy and Jackie - which I put together as soon as I got up this morning :)

A ginormous thank you to our friends for putting on the party and showering us with gifts - we're so lucky!!

Almost 27 Weeks - 4D Ultrasoud
Today was a super fun day - both of our mom's came to visit, and we went to A Glimpse Before and After to see Miss Cameron!
For starters, this place is super cool. Matt wasn't sold on the ultrasound for fun idea, but I didn't want our moms to miss out on it if we did it. So, you can check their website out at www.aglimpsebeforeandafter.com - basically they have different packages (at different prices of course) - but the cool thing is you have this comfy little twin bed to lie on, and there is a big sectional sofa to invite your friends and family, so you all get to hang out for 30 minutes and just watch the little one wiggle. It was really cool to share with our moms.
So....this is what our little one looks like :)
Her profile - we haven't gotten a good one of these yet from the doctor, so this was really cool.
She loves to have her hands in front of her face, and when we first started her feet where up by her face. She eventually stretched out.
And here is her little smiley face :)
And then just snoozing - she kept opening her mouth, which was pretty cool. I don't think she looks like either of us, but I do think she definitely has Matt's cute little nose.
And she kept putting her hand to her mouth, and then her thumb to her lips, but never opened up (which would have been cute but I'm glad she wasn't in there sucking her thumb, at least when I was watching!). She did suck on her bottom lip, which I don't think I got a picture of, but was funny.
It was great to see her, and we got a ton of pics and a DVD of our session, which I'm sure we'll show off. Totally worth the money to do it especially to have special people there.
And then I got a text from my friend Kelsey to come to the office ASAP - which I thought was really weird, and after a dozen or so texts, I played along and headed to the office and found this...
And beautiful yellow roses from Cameron and Matt. Umm yes, the note made me cry. I'm a very lucky momma :)
Tomorrow marks just 3 months left until little miss gets here. Can't wait!

24 weeks - it's been a good one...
Baby E (yeah, I don't call her Cameron yet - maybe I'll get used to it by the time she gets here...) had lots of love this week...and needless to say this soon-to-be-mom had a super busy week too.
It started with a super sweet gift from Elizabeth - Cameron's first monogram!
And then Thursday I got to see her little face - the pictures turned out terribly, she kept covering her face (which I would too if I was napping and someone came poking around), but I was really glad that I got to see her cute little nose and face. I love the shot of her chubby little hand :)
Then we had our first Bradley class Thursday evening - but I'll post on that later.
Friday we found out our friends Sara and Justin are having a little boy a month after us - can't wait to watch our little ones grow up together!
Saturday Matt had to work, so I headed down to Durant, and then went shopping for maternity wear in Allen and in Dallas (and I'll post on that later too). I also came home with lots of goodies for little one from Matt's mom and Meme.
Lots of outfits - you can't see it, but there is bathing suit in that pile - loves it!
And the Pack 'n Play! It's a terrible pic, but I can't wait to open it up and play!
Oh and I got a little present from Meme's trip to New York City (insert hick accent here)....
Let's see - 15 more weeks, 11 more birthing classes, about a thousand more birth/breastfeeding/child-raising books, the list goes on and on. Can't wait for her to get here!
