A White (day after) Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! So Matt and I went to Durant on Wednesday afternoon and missed all of the horrible travel! We had a wonderful Christmas with Matt's families, saw Sherlock Holmes, and did some serious shopping before we left (I will not post my new purse, but I am OBSESSED)! I drove home because Matt was tired, and the dogs slept in the back seat ::




Our drive home was OK - I-35 was not super clear under some of the bridges so I was pretty stressed. We made it home quickly, and then we got to our addition...if you have never been there, there is only one entrance/exit, and there are two large fields before you get to any of the houses. We pull into our addition to see one of our neighbors with a bobcat tractor shoveling snow off the street...this is a bad sign. So, needless to say, it was a bit treacherous getting to our house (and we couldn't even get in our driveway) ::



We also can't open our back door, so here are some pictures of us playing in the front yard with the pups. The snow almost came to my shoulders at its highest point!
